Getting in Touch With Us

APPOINTMENTS

All patients are seen by appointment only. In an urgent situation, patients can be seen the same day. Appointments may be scheduled by calling our Wichita office at (316) 247-6451 or 1-800-755-1610 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. There are some days when we offer appointments starting at 7:30 a.m. Appointment times and days may vary depending on the office location and provider you request. If for some reason it is necessary to cancel an appointment, please call in advance so the scheduled time may be offered to another patient.

TELEPHONE CALLS

All patients are encouraged to call with any questions they have on medical problems. However, it would be unfair to our patients if the provider and/or nurse were to leave the exam room to answer every telephone call. The office staff will take a message and relay the information to the provider or his/her nurse. Your call will be returned or otherwise answered at the earliest convenience.

AFTER HOURS TELEPHONE CALLS

If you find it necessary to contact the provider after normal office hours, the Physician’s Exchange will forward all messages to your provider or the provider on call. Your call will be returned at the earliest opportunity.

PRESCRIPTION REFILLS

All prescription refills should be called to your pharmacy. They will then call or fax the clinic with the information.

When refills are requested, your medical status and treatment plan will be carefully considered by the provider. The approval or denial will then be faxed or phoned back to the pharmacy. If you need additional refills for a weekend, vacation, trip, etc., please plan ahead and call your pharmacy during the office hours a few days in advance of your needs.
